Economic growth through e-commerce system enhancement in logistics activities
Garuda Indonesia Airlines has established a collaboration with PT Perigi Raja Terpadu (Perigi Logistics) to expand new warehouse facilities in order to enhance the customs system services for the import logistics and e-commerce market.
Through this service, the handling of import and e-commerce shipments will be supported by the latest systems and equipment, integrated with a smart conveyor belt directly connected to the customs system, enabling a faster import service process than before.
This service process is essential, as e-commerce has become a key sector in driving economic growth and creating strong demand for logistics and delivery services.
President Director of Perigi Logistics, Indra Buana, stated that the development of this warehouse service is part of the company’s continuous innovation efforts to maximize safe and reliable logistics delivery services, ensuring cargo accessibility in line with the growth of Indonesia’s e-commerce sector.
With a shared vision to provide safe and efficient import and e-commerce delivery services, this collaboration is expected to optimize the handling process of shipments in Express Courier warehouses, making it faster, measurable, and fully monitored and accessible by stakeholders, namely Customs and Excise, Express Courier Companies, and PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.
